There are literally hundreds of others out there, but those are a few that we enjoy that are updated often.
That’s the key to your site — update often. Some topics might include:
- Event recaps/photos/videos
- Upcoming event information
- Church news
- Devotionals
- Member news (”Johnny was named all-state in football”, “Steve arrived home safely from Iraq”, etc)
- Building progress (if you have a new building/renovation)
There’s really no limit to what you can post. Anything to help you connect with your community is a good thing, and a blog is a great way to do it!
